Buddy List?

Can someone tell me what is the point of Buddy List? What does it do?

buddy list allows you to send 'multiple' pm to all your buddies, also you can view their status(on/off line).
go to "Quick Links" at the top of the page and click it then click "Open Buddy List", a seperate little box will open up with all your buddy's in it showing wether they are online or off. It wont show your ignoreds only your buddy's and you just leave the box open while you are browsing/posting in the sdb teritories .
PS: Whenever you add someone then open your buddy list hit "Reload" straight away and it will instantly update the buddy's you have added into the list.
That way it will inform you when your buddy's come online and go offline. you can pm your buddy's from there as well; It should update/refesh automatically every 5mins or so but you can just click the reload button and it will Update/refresh it straight away if you want to know who is on at that moment.

Buddy list is meant to be a small sdb-network. It allows you to add people u think they will protect you whenever u need them.

I have a question though. If a member's set to invisible, will I still be able to see their status in my Buddy List?

I am not saying you are asking too much but ....No you can't

u think they will protect you whenever u need them.
