Because, they are cheap to buy ( for the government)

i don't think we have any :D .
however the goverment has been following the policy of arabizing sudan for almost 50 years now. if u watch sudanese TV u would notice things like
-a light skinned person which in most cases a (halab) hosting a program about south sudanese ppl to try to convince us that there is actually a difference betwwen them.
-light skinned girl (hala agha) which is clearly turkish in every program n show.
-no mention of africa ( not even in the news)
-plenty arab movies n shows
