Thanks Carl for the post. Sultan, the Rules and Regulations are posted under the Forum Rules now, (bottom page, Left hand) or you can click here:

The link you posted on Carl's post

doesn't include any thing about moderators..........i do think it's quite fair that since you put a rules for members to put similar one for moderators and by using reporting property to report about inappropriate contents on the others' posts we need to report what moderators do over here!
cause many cases happened and people ignored it
YOU are in Saudi Arabia... so stop playing stupid games...

As you mentioned here
As for the Multiple usernames, administering and controlling who has multiple names and whose access belongs to who, is way too much administrative work, that neither me nor the moderators will be able to handle with the limited capacity of time and moderators we have. We still try our best to filter what we can especially the disruptive usrnames registering for the sole purpose of creating some chaos. I am sure if you were in the moderator shoes, you will see where the problem lies with the moderation of the SDB.
multiple identities feature is not against board rules as long as owners of multiple identities don't use them for revenge!
what Dr.Moe did in that thread is questionable,,,,cause he -due to his job knows alot about people here and their identities,,,,,,,,,and many people here use multiple identities feature,,,,so,it is not fair to post information about some one and forget about the others! speaking about consistency here:lool:
and if he does not like that member contributions and posts i think he can discuss that with him with out bringing up his personal and private information regardless the other people here who track the others and know their IP's
i really find putting what moderator(s) duties include and what don't include is -in message board rules-so effective way to let the others here feel justice.....
Carl
I think the role of moderators is understood. What is missing in this context are the rules by which moderators go about their job. The ability of ordinary members to receive due process and accountability!
Let us say I want to challenge your interpretation of rule .. how can I do this!?
Let us say I am not pleased with the way a moderator has edited a post (any one) how can one engage in such a challenge!?
How do we challenge moderator inconsistency!?
When I have given offence or received an offensive comment ... that was read by 600 people why is my punishment or that other party kept secret. How do learn from secret penalties if the goal is to create a standard?
I think we can do more with more transparency and consistency!
Ps: Where are the forum’s rules!?
