نسبة لأن هناك مواضيع ومداخلات طويلة نسبياً أرجو أن تكون فترة السماح بالتحرير أقلها ساعة حتى تسمح بتصحيح الأخطاء.. ومشكور على إتاحة هذه النافذة لنطل على بعضنا البعض.

Salam winner, the editing issue we have discussed while back...and Muaz had to reduce the time to what it is now because it was abused by some SDBers....now it is onlt allowing members just enough time after posting to recheck and make any changes needed:D

ووالله فيك الخير ولك الشكر... فقد تقدمت برجائي بناءً على تجربة عملية في عدم كفاية العشرة دقائق لتحرير المداخلات والبوستات نسبة لأن الكونكشن في بعض الأحيان يكون ضعيفاً وأحياناً أخرى يقطع لمدة تزيد عن العشرة دقائق مما يؤدي إلى بقاء أخطاء كبيرة.... ولهذا السبب فالعشرة دقائق تعتبر فترة غير كافية.

علماً بأن المخالفين والمستغلين لخاصية التحرير يمكن حسمهم ولكن لا ذنب لمن يكتب مداخلة طويلة أو موضوع طويل في أن يحرم من التحرير للأخطاء وجل من لا يخطئ.. فهل من الممكن أن تمتد هذه الفترة لساعات بدلاً من دقائق على أن تنتهي في نفس اليوم.

تحياتي وشكري مرة أخرى للأهتمام ودمتي.

العشرة دقائق تعتبر فترة غير كافية.

علماً بأن المخالفين والمستغلين لخاصية التحرير يمكن حسمهم ولكن لا ذنب لمن يكتب مداخلة طويلة أو موضوع طويل في أن يحرم من التحرير للأخطاء وجل من لا يخطئ.

you might want to try use Word or other product that allows you to edit a long post before posting it on sdb.

but also it is dangerous to give edit opportunity a long time such as an hour or like that ...because ,,some members might change the whole idea within that time not just to correct some mistakes and the discussion will appear as irrelevant ...while some might change some points in their replies to false or fool the other arguments ... the edit long-time opportunity can be abused by different methods and will develop instability to the whole thread

بعيداً عن ناس وينر التعبان... تخيل أن يكتب عندك كاتب كبير ثم يفاجأ بأنك تعامله كالطفل الصغير سمحنا لك بعشر دقائق وقد انتهت ألا يشعر بمهانة.

I do agree with this proposal greatly

SDB is like a blog ,,, a writer should given the rights to edit his messages

it's understandable why you can only edit in 10 mins after you post

but sometimes it may take you day ,, or days to change your content

an so i would like to add that we should have open edit time

but we can edit it quick during the 10 mins

and after the 10 mins ,, if we edit the message there should be a link under the message shows the original message as a penalty for editing it after 10 mins

i think this may satisfy both parties
