hello everyone
i am planning to do 4 different sculpture (Human Statue) each one of them will represent a part from sudan. so i need people from different regions in sudan to come forward and tell me about a famous symbol that represent that part of the country

am defently using a woman to represent south soudan because women from the south are quite unique i think....well i hope the people u mentioned will see my post :)

Ok Guys this is the walll i would like to display my statues on...u see the small purple columns with the black rrectangles around them?...this is where i will be displaying the sculptures.
so the idea is simple...this wall i am doing in a historical building(100 yr old) in sudan (not for real its only a school project :D ) the builiding is currently khartoums main post office building..its located beside the presidential palace and the museum. am converting it into a 5 starts Hotel using environmentaly friendly marterials to build and renovate it, since sustainable design and historical architecture and not as appreciated in sudan (due to lack of society knowledge about both subjects) i would like to use this building to educate the public about the importance of historical buildings as well as the importance of sustainable design and how it can effect our environment. at the same time through this project i would like to educate canadians about sudan(from a cultural perspective) thats y i want to have 4 different sculptures to represent east, west, north and south sudan, and the palm trees in the middile will represent sudan as a whole and one country having all these cultures within (because palm trees are found pretty much all over sudan)

You know we all don't look the same in the South. I think it will be good if we begin to know each other in the Sudan. I generally find that people in the North only know a little bit about the Dinka, Nuer and Zande. The South has almost 66 different tribes.

Ok Guys this is the walll i would like to display my statues on...u see the small purple columns with the black rrectangles around them?...this is where i will be displaying the sculptures.
so the idea is simple...this wall i am doing in a historical building(100 yr old) in sudan (not for real its only a school project :D ) the builiding is currently khartoums main post office building..its located beside the presidential palace and the museum. am converting it into a 5 starts Hotel using environmentaly friendly marterials to build and renovate it, since sustainable design and historical architecture and not as appreciated in sudan (due to lack of society knowledge about both subjects) i would like to use this building to educate the public about the importance of historical buildings as well as the importance of sustainable design and how it can effect our environment. at the same time through this project i would like to educate canadians about sudan(from a cultural perspective) thats y i want to have 4 different sculptures to represent east, west, north and south sudan, and the palm trees in the middile will represent sudan as a whole and one country having all these cultures within (because palm trees are found pretty much all over sudan)

This guy actually portray saudi arabia. he is from the reshiydah tribe which migrated from saudi arabia 200 years ago. they don't enter marry with any sudanese tribes and thats why they are the only arabs in sudan. the rest are just arab wannables :D .
