Hi,
I've posted this before, but was flammed by most (not all) replies, and for some reason (maybe due to site maintainance) my post got deleted. I hope this time new members will read and that I may find the answer I am seeking for.
I'm writing seeking help, and in hope that I'd find someone who could agree to help me in the case, that I'll just explain.
I'm a student who has been studying the British education system, in a private school, since childhood. I couldn't finish my college studies in my country of residence, as the subjects are mostly taught in native language and not english like we used to study subjects and terms. Also the major I wanted to study wasn't good taught in uni but only in one institution where I live, and it doesn't get you college degree. That's why, I was forced to study my major via correspondence schools, but quit it after sometime. Now I work in a field that has nothing to do with what I intended to study, but still provides me with good income.
I've always wanted to finish my studies somewhere else, like the US or Canada. But tuition fees being high in most of the colleges there, there was no way I was going to make it on time. I tried entering in almost every international scholarship offered, but had no luck in winning.
I already wasted lots of years, but recently, I found what MAYBE is a glimpse of hope to my situation. It is basically a US site that offers loans to US AND international students (undergraduate and graduates)...full loans till they finish college or part loans, whatever you wish...They also have lists of US and Canadian unis in which this loan may be applied for.... For international students, they have to start the monthly repay back of the loan after 45 days of them begining their studies,,,repayments are about $50 monthly. The only condition is that they have to have a US co-signer to sign on their behalf...He has to be a US resident of at least 2 years, has good credit and with no criminal background. If the co-signer was accepted, the loan would be issued in a matter of days... 10 days maximum. This is the site:
http://www.internationalstudentloan.com/
This maybe is the only chance I got now. I hope that someone would consider taking a look at the site and offer to be a co-signer. We could arrange everything so that he benefits/earns as well. I know this may sound stupid on my part to go around asking for help from random people in a sensitive matter like this, but this is the only way for me, as I don't personally know anyone who is a US resident.
Thanks alot for taking the time to read my message and thanks in advance to any sort of help anyone can offer.
