He pointed to the achievements in Sudan despite the embargo imposed on Sudan, adding that the government managed to explore the oil and exporting it besides implementing several development projects in all fields.
Al-Bashir affirmed that the government does not refuse cooperation with others in the frame of interest exchange and not through targeting others.
He lauded the role of the Sufi sects and their rejection to all plots targeting the safety and security of the country pointing to the efforts exerted by the government to achieve peace and national reconciliation.

Meanwhile, President Al Bashir on Saturday reaffirmed that Sudan does not believe in establishment or normalization of relations with Israel as this would mean weakening the spirit of resistance and steadfastness for the Arab people. He stressed the need to mobilize the Arab Nation to confront the Zionist strategic project that seeks to establish Great Israel State.

The President has pointed out in his address to the delegates taking part in the twentieth Arab Nation Congress in the presence of the Secretary General of the National Council for International People Friendship, Ahmed Abdul Rahaman, that the Arab World face plots and plans that seek to undermine its potentials and its gains, stressing that the Palestinian cause shall remain the central Arab issue. He said Sudan was convinced there would be no peace with Israel explaining that division of the Israelis into hardliners, leftists and right wing was only exchange of role to serve this Zionist project. He said Sudan was against any work that seek to liquidate the Palestinian resistance

The President renewed Sudan''s stance in support of the resistance in Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan saying the war in Gaza was the biggest victory for the will of the free people, commending the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance for the liberation of the Palestine from the Israel entity.

The Secretary General of the Arab Nation Congress Dr Khalif Al Suffiani has reaffirmed the backing and the support of the conferees for the Sudan in facing foreign plots. He said the pressure Sudan was facing was because of its rejection of foreign dictates. He said the decision of the ICC did not only make Sudanese come in support of their leadership but made the whole Arab people come in support of he Sudan and in rejecting any dealing with the court.
The speakers who made interventions in the meeting have stressed their support and Backing for the Sudan and stressed the need for unifying Arab ranks in face of international pressures, calling on all Arab and all the Islamic states to boos and support the Sudan.

In another development, Al-Bashir will travel next week to Addis Ababa to take part in a joint meeting between the two neighboring countries, the Ethiopian foreign ministry said on Saturday.
"The Ethiopia-Sudanese joint committee meeting is now rescheduled and both sides will hold their joint meeting on Tuesday April 21, 2009 in Addis Ababa" reached by phone Ministry’s spokesperson Wahde Belay told Sudan Tribune.
The joint meeting will discuss issues related to the two countries’ bilateral cooperation on various fields; economic, cultural and security issues being among others.
Last week the joint meeting was postponed for the second time after both governments said that they were tied up of being engaged in other urgent commitments in their respective countries.
