If you are asking for our opinion , they are hip hop lyrics , but I think that the words are not that meaningful and the use of poor expressions is very clear ........ maybe when you add rythm and music to it , it might be more fun.

I'm a poet so I do understand hip hop. If you new much about hip hop, you would know that it was Jamaicans who first started hip hop; but I don't expect you to know the history behind hip hop. No one asked you to breakdown anything. Some artists are good at being in the hip hop world. Some are new while others are a pro at it. I didn't ask you to break anything down. As a poet I do understand most messages behind the lyrics from most artists. Some artists write crap and you know it. I've purchased many hip hop songs in the past becasue I enjoy the beat and not so much the words.

Some lyrics are not worth the money, but the beat will make me want to buy the cd. We have plenty of artist who are good at what they do. I'm not crazy about M&M, however, I 've listened to some of his lyrics before and the way he formulated his words, he make words that doesn't rhyme sound as if they rhyme because of the way he uses his words and how he emphasize them.


Stop being so defensive and concentrate on what you're doing. If you're making money off what you're doing, then you're a pro and keep doing the do. Until then, practice will never hurt. I enjoy writing poetry and if people didn't like my poetry, they wouldn't pay to read it. As long as you're making money of your work, then don't worry what people say. When your work isn't selling, then something isn't working.

Tupac was apart of the hip hop world, yes I do agree to this, however, Mr. Tupac was very young and he had an old spirit; he rapped about the past, present and future. He was before his time and there are other rappers much older than him and he learned from those pioneers. Those pioneers are the reall hip hoppers.

LUPE FIASCO is great at what he does. He's very intelligent. I'll always buy his music. I would purchase his cd any time even if I've never heard it as yet. The brother is just talented and will always make money off me. My youngest daughter is 17 and wouldn't hesitate to pay for his cd for her. My oldest daughte is 27 and she's crazy about LUPE FIASCO. I keep up with these artist because of my children.
