It is interesting to note how many films have recently been made on the african continent, such as Hotel Rwanda, Constand Gardener, The Last King of Scotland, and Blood Diamonds! It is very exciting to see our normally forgotten continent at the forefront of popular culture, despite the sad truths most of these films are about (all of them actually).
I have just seen Blood Diamonds and I would really reccommend it. I liked the fact that it included the song 'Baai' by Emmanuel Jal in it. Nice to see a Sudanese song in a hollywood film!
